Carl Hayden

Freshmen Head Coach

Carl Hayden is in his third year with the Generals. He is a graduate of Wayne High School in Dayton, Ohio. He was a prep standout performer in both football and track. He was named a Nike indoor All-American in track his senior year. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2006 where he was a four-year letter winner for the Colonels and served as Captain his senior year. After college Carl was a member of the Lexington Horsemen indoor football team. He played two years for the Horsemen. Carl will enter his third year as a physics teacher at Lafayette. He will serve as the Freshmen Head Coach and he will assist in the Varsity defensive secondary. Carl is married to Kelly Hayden (formerly Oliver) and resided in Lexington, Kentucky.
