Eric Shaw

Defensive Coordinator

Eric Shaw is in his seventh season with the Generals. He is the assistant head coach and will coordinate the defense. He will also work closely with the Linebackers. He is a native of Pensacola, Florida where he was an excellent prep athlete. He was offered a full scholarship to Louisiana Tech University where he was a stand out member of the football team. He then joined the Winnipeg entry of the Canadian Football League for a year before becoming a member of the Cincinnati Bengals. He played three years for the Bengals. Eric is employed by the Fayette County School System at Lafayette High School. Eric and his wife, Angela, have seven sons: Enrique’, James, Eric D., Eric Jr., Enrico, Evan, Ean and a daughter, Erica. Angela is the owner and operator of Shaw’s Child Care.
