Offensive Coordinator

Lester Diaz is in his fifth season with the Generals. He is the assistant head coach and will coordinate the offense. He will also work closely with the wide receivers. He is a native of Miami, Florida and a graduate of Florida International University. After teaching and coaching for five years in Florida, two with Miami Coral Park and three with South Miami High School, he joined the staff of Eastern Kentucky University as a Graduate Assistant Coach for two years with responsibilities in the defensive secondary. He received Masters Degrees from EKU in Sport Management and Academic Leadership prior to joining the Lafayette faculty (where he will serve as the dean of students) and the Generals football staff. Lester resides in Lexington, Kentucky and is married to Ann Diaz (formerly Jackson).
