Rob Sayre – Head
Coach
The 2008
football season marks Coach Rob Sayre’s 1st year as Head Coach of
the Generals. He played football at
Tates Creek High School, where he was an All-City player in 1991 for Coach Roy
Walton. His coaching career began at
Tates Creek High School in 1996. He
served as Freshman Head Coach for three years, and coached the offensive line
for two years. In 2000, he became the
Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for Lafayette High School where
he helped lead the Generals to 7 winning seasons, 2 district titles, and 2 city
championships. In addition to his
coaching duties, he teaches Biology and is the Intramural Director at
Lafayette. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree
in Biology from Eastern Kentucky University in 1998 and a Master’s Degree in Academic
Leadership from The University of Kentucky in 2005. He has been married to his wife, Aimee for
three years. They have a one year old
daughter, Ella.
