Carl Nathe

Carl has been the Generals’ Football game PA announcer for the last nine years. Prior to that, he was the announcer for the Lafayette Baseball team. He is in his 12th year as the PA announcer for University of Kentucky Football at Commonwealth Stadium and is also the PA announcer for UK Baseball. Carl is a member of the National Association of Sports Public Address Announcers (NASPAA). He also serves as producer/reporter for the “Matthew Mitchell/UK Women’s Basketball" TV show.

Carl has worked in the public relations office at the University of Kentucky since September 1989 and joined UK following four years as a sports reporter and sports anchor at WLEX-TV/Channel 18 in Lexington.
