We will be conducting offseason work-outs for incoming Freshmen on
Monday’s and Friday’s,  beginning the Monday after spring break. (April 7)

The work-outs will be from 4:45-5:45, every Monday and Friday until school is out.

There are two ways to get started as a Lafayette Football Player:

Varsity Freshman Player -
You must report to practice at the same time as the Varsity players and complete all of the preseason workouts. This will allow you to become a traveling member of the Lafayette Football team. All Freshman that participate in Summer work-outs will be in the team photo and have their names listed in the program. As a freshman, going through all the varsity workouts you will be under the supervision of the varsity and freshman coaches.  You will have the opportunity to learn techniques side by side with varsity players. This is a huge advantage for a you as a young player to receive this opportunity to receive extra quality reps. Freshman will not be paired up or competing against older players. Freshman will be paired up against other freshman only.

Non-Varsity Freshman Player -
Reports to practice the first week of school.  You will then join the freshman team, comprised of Varsity Freshman,  for practice. Your practice will be separate from the Varsity and coached by experienced freshmen coaches. A Non-Varsity Freshman football player must participate in all workouts, games, fund raisers, and grade checks, just like the varsity players. Non-Varsity freshman will not be allowed to dress on Friday nights or travel with the Varsity.
